October 12, 2022

fNIRS conference, 2022
The need for open science methods for neuroimaging has been highlighted many times. Study preregistration is a key tool to allow transparent planning and evaluation of research designs, analyses and outcomes. The "open science fnirs interest group" has recently published the first guide and template to introduce the communit to this method, walking the reader step-by-step through the process. David presented this work  at the bi-annual meeting of the fNIRS society in Boston, you can find a recording here (start around 1:01:40).  A preprint of the article is available, the final version will appear soon in Neurophotonics.
